Venetian blinds
Venetian blinds date back centuries – to the 1770s, in fact. These blinds have slats that are wooden, plastic or metallic. The slats are attached via a chord that can raise and lower the blinds, as well as pull the slats together.
Another style of Venetian blind is also popular today. This style is where the blinds are connected, rather than slats having space between them. Many people associate this look with Venetian blinds.
The most important aspect of installing Venetian blinds is in the measuring. Once you have chosen the blinds you want, be sure to double-check the measurements of your windows. Do not assume that all your windows are the same size, even if they are supposed to be the same size. Measure each window at three points across the window.
